What you will get with this upgrade?
NEW FILAMENT SENSOR
The previous sensor didn’t work well with some specific filaments. The new sensor is using the optical sensor which is triggered by a simple mechanical lever. This sensor doesn’t care about the optical properties of the filament (it can be completely invisible) and cannot die because of mechanical wear.
EASIER SERVICE
Thanks to completely reworked extruder you don’t have to take apart the whole extruder if you want to change the nozzle or PTFE tube. As a bonus, the nozzle and the extruder motor is much closer to the X axis, this means less resonance and better prints too. Better Y axis belt tensioning is just the icing on the cake.
BETTER COOLING
Thanks to the better design of the whole extruder, air flow is increased and as a result, cooling capabilities are improved. We have also focused on cooling of the the printed object and MK2.5S/MK3S is better for printing from flexible materials.

SKETCHY SELLER, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered the bear kit, and the description did not mention anything about the missing printed parts for this specific kit, which cost me over $150. The store uploaded a tracking number quickly but did not actually ship it out on time. It arrived very late after getting lost in transit. I had to contact the shipper multiple times to find the package. In the mean time, it went on sale for $93 less than what I paid. The seller promised to refund the difference then tried to convince me to cancel the dispute, claiming I had to do so to process the refund. Additionally, the frame was bent, and the holes drilled were not square, so the frame is useless. Item is not as described, and seller is sketchy. Take your money elsewhere.

Good quality components, super clear assembly instructions, it printed right away after assembly! Well done, this is very close to Prusa in terms of overall quality. I printed my parts using default PrusaSlicer Quality 0.2mm settings for Prusament PETG, using 15% gyroid infill and it turned out just fine! Following the instructions and making sure all the distances were within the parameters found in the guide, I was quickly able to get a perferct z-offset of -0.2mm! Highly recommended and wait times are less than those of Prusa 🙂 Spring steel sheet is high quality and looks durable.

Missing parts such as extruder body in repository. Missing link to parts list, repository, and build videos. If you buy this good luck building a printer blind, missing parts, and bad service.
